Details of this weekend’s “Golden Palace” show in Makapanstad, North West province, will be published in coming days on this site.
There are six fights, with Ryno Liebenberg’s super-middleweight bout the pick of the action on Saturday.
“We’ve had a lot of enquiries from fans wanting to share this historic occasion,” said promoter Rodney Berman.
For those wishing to make the trip, directions follow.
Fans wishing to travel in convoy must note that an entourage will be leaving from top trainer Colin Nathan’s HotBox gym in Glenhazel at 7.30am sharp.
Boxing starts at 10am at Moretele College. Tickets cost R50 with all proceeds going to the local community.
HOW TO GET THERE
From N1 Hammanskraal turn off left.
First traffic light turn right.
Next traffic light turn left.
Straight over next two traffic lights.
Road sign Makapanstad turn right.
Straight to Makapanstad, taxi rank on left.
Next stop street road sign Moretele Office Park – turn left.
Turn left at Moretele Office Park sign.
