Roselands, New South Wales is an Australian suburb in south-western Sydney, 16 kilometres south-west of Sydney’s central business district in the city of Cantebury.
It is amidst this picturesque environment which lies in the Cooks River watershed, that unbeaten super middleweight boxer Michael Bolling calls home, though he was actually born in St Georges which is situated in the same State.
The topography of Roselands is one of rolling hills and before British settlement of Australia in 1788 the vegetation of that region was open eucalypt woodland. Fiercely proud of his Aussie heritage, the 25-year-old Bolling means to win a world championship and in less than three weeks time, he’ll be afforded the opportunity to do just that when he steps into the ring at Emperors Palace to challenge South Africa’s Tommy “Tommy Gun” Oosthuizen for the vacant IBO world super middleweight title. The portents favour a slam-bang encounter between two rangy hitters who both fight out of the left-handed, or if you prefer southpaw stance!
Reliable sources from Down Under project an ominous image of the shaven-headed Bolling, who has thus far compiled an unblemished resume of 12-0, with 10 knockouts and from footage that’s available, one can see just why the big-punching Bolling feels confident of his chances of success.
Mind you the opponent Bolling will be facing is anything other than frail and this despite a pale, almost innocuous presentation. Indeed young Mr Oosthuizen is a steely-fashioned 21-year-old with thunderous power and a proclivity for leaving his opposition with an assortment of ugly lumps, bumps and abrasions. That Oosthuizen will enter the fray on June 19 at Emperors Palace with an untarnished record of 11-0 with 8 knockouts is testimony to the Van Dyk Park man’s prowess as a pugilist and let’s not forget that he won three international titles during 2009; namely the IBO Youth world light heavyweight, IBO Youth world super middleweight and WBA Pan African championships.
With another ornamental belt up for grabs, Oosthuizen has been preparing for this fight with his usual intensity, that features fiery bursts of jabs, hooks and uppercuts and if his mentor Harold Volbrecht is to be credited, the Tommy Gun is quickly reaching his peak. Clearly the prospect of having two undefeated fighters share part of the Emperors Palace “BLOCKBUSTER” spotlight appeals to the everyday fight fan who relishes seeing muscular missionaries such as these biff, bang and badger each other for twelve rounds or less. Methinks this contest may result in the latter prognosis given the fact that both warriors owe little allegiance to the niceties of the Queensbury Rules.
Yet let us not foster the idea of either fighter being entirely short of guile since their robust sermons have incorporated some incisive displays on two different continents which happen to lay 5, 962 nautical miles (11,029 nautical kilometres) apart across the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean.
From an analytical viewpoint this punch-up should be sensational, despite the fact that two counter-punching southpaws have occasionally been known to stink out the joint. “Not so Oosthuizen and Bolling” says veteran observer Paul Hetz, whose been watching men have their noses flattened for over fifty years. “Yes they’re both lefties but remember that a world championship is riding on the result of this fight and one has to believe that they’ll both be gunning for rapid-fire dividends. I’m sticking out my neck but this contest will probably be a knock-em-down, drag-em-out affair while it lasts, which shouldn’t be longer than eight rounds”.

I can assure you one thing people when Thomas gets into that ring it’s he’s bread and milk, now when some Aussie think he’s going to take that away from him, I can assure you we as Afrikaans people know when it’s time to work, and I believe that he fights with he’s heart for he’s bread and milk, and he won’t allow some Aussie to take that away. So come the 19th Bolling you stepping into the boss’s office and you’re just an employee @ Thomas “Tommy-Gun” Oosthuizen’s company, so come and get your wages and move Boet!

So sorry for Tommy, but if you are a boxing supporter you will be in for a boxing match of note. Having Budler there will surely secure my seats and then we have Jason aswell.
I will not change my ringside seats.

The fight is on classy Golden Boy V.S Michael Bolling, I could agree better this will be a good fight, Isaac needs to keep he’s punching rate at a good consistency then he’ll walk away victorious. God bless Isaac, Good Luck Tommy we hope Isaac wins, for Tommy will take that title away from Isaac.
